Dr. Dixon is a global water technology expert with focus on water treatment and desalination technology. He has worked across Australia, North America, the Middle East, the Caribbean and Asia. He is currently CEO of Turing’s SmartOps group and has previously been Founder of Synauta (Exit 2022 to Gradiant), CTO of Canada’s water accelerator, WaterNEXT and an advisor to multiple startups, including MIT’s Sandymount (Exit 2020), and E3 Lithium (CVE: ETL). Dr. Dixon was also Applications Development Manager for NanoH2O, a startup leveraging UCLA-developed nanotechnology and acquired by LG in 2014. 

Mike is a Board Member of the International Desalination Association. He has a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Adelaide.
