Biography

Kristin Cavicchi is a Senior Applications Engineer at Air Liquide Electronics working in the division that designs and builds chemical and slurry blend and distribution equipment. Her primary role is to analyze customer requests for new equipment and determine the best equipment design to meet the specific requirements of each chemical or slurry application.  Kristin has over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, having started her career as a Wets/CMP Process Engineer in a DRAM fab. For the past 19 years, she has held various roles in the chemical management business, from R&D to product management to applications engineering. Kristin has served on the ITRS Yield Enhancement group for liquid chemicals, and has written a chapter on chemical management for the “Semiconductor Manufacturing Handbook”. She has a BS in Materials Science and Engineering from Cornell University, and an MBA from the University of Minnesota.
