Jochen Ruth holds a master’s degree in process technology from Karlsruhe University (TH).

For 25 years he has been involved in membrane driven separation applications covering RO, NF, UF and MF. Stretching his experience from municipal water treatment to photovoltaic and semiconductors led him to ever more demanding applications in terms of cleanliness and reliability.

Classical filtration and separation techniques especially in the UPW environment are among his topics of specialization, accompanied with relevant analytics such as particle counting and contamination interpretation.

He is actively working in international committees of SEMI and ITRS with their task forces focusing on semiconductor related topics.
