Jochen Ruth holds a master degree in mechanical engineering from Karlsruhe University (TH).
Since 20 years he has been involved in membrane driven separation applications covering RO, NF, UF and MF. Stretching his experience from municipal water treatment to photovoltaic and semiconductors led him to ever more demanding specifications in terms of cleanliness and reliability.
Classical filtration and separation applications especially in the UPW environment are among his topics of specialization, accompanied with relevant analytics such as particle counting and contamination interpretation.
He is actively working in international committees of SEMI and ITRS and was a member of the GVT society (Gesellschaft für Verfahrenstechnik – Member of DECHEMA) for several years before exclusively focusing on Microelectronic applications.
