Jason is a Senior Facilities Engineer at Samsung Austin Semiconductor. Jason has been with Samsung for seven years, focusing on the design, operation, and maintenance of HVAC equipment for semiconductor manufacturing. He is currently the technical engineering lead over sitewide HVAC systems, including the central steam and cooling plants, process cooling water, heating hot water, and cleanroom environment.

Jason holds an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He has over a decade of facilities operations experience, beginning his career as a building energy efficiency consultant where he spent four years supporting US Veterans Affairs and US Army Medical Command healthcare and research facilities by identifying, developing and implementing HVAC energy efficiency improvement opportunities.
