Ferdinando Crapulli

Research Scientist, Trojan Technologies

Dr. Crapulli is a research scientist at Trojan Technologies. His work is focused on a specific Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP): water irradiated by short-wavelength light (185nm) to degrade total organic carbon. His research is conducted experimentally and numerically with the objective of process analysis and product optimization. Dr. Crapulli has more than 10 years of experience in water and wastewater modelling with the use of Computational Fluid Dynamics. Dr.Crapulli received his B.Eng. degree (with honors) in Environmental Engineering from Polytechnic of Bari (Italy) and Ph.D. in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from Western University (Canada).
