Biography

Elizabeth Betancourt, PE, has a Master’s in Chemical Engineering from the National Technological University, a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus and is a registered Professional Engineer with the state of AZ.  She has been working as a chemical/environmental engineer for 24 years, with experience in numerous areas including environmental compliance programs as well as process engineering and program manager.  She is currently the Intel Ocotillo Operations and Commissioning Manager of the two new factories been built.  During her Intel career, she has been the Intel Ocotillo UPW area manager, Facilities Process Transfer and Commissioning manager and a Senior Facilities Engineer in the UPW group.  Elizabeth lives in Tempe, Arizona with her husband Ric, sons Ricardo and Kaleb, and fur babies Leo and Apollo.  In her free time, she enjoys hiking, mountain biking, piano, camping and traveling.
