David Troy, BSEE is the Sustaining Engineering Manager at TRUMPF’s semiconductor facility that produces Laser Diodes using GaAs.  He has worked in compound semiconductors at several facilities for over 30 years, including epitaxial growth, frontend wafer processing, die thinning and separation.  His background has focused within the manufacturing organizations with emphasis on thin films and frontend wafer processing.  His technical background included being a member of the Technical planning Committee for the GaAs MANTECH where he contributed technical papers as well as being a session chairman.  David has also authored and received a patent.
