David Blackford

Biography

David B. Blackford, Ph.D., is the former President of Kanomax FMT, Inc. a company specializing in developing products for monitoring contamination in Ultrapure Water. Previously, David worked for the British Government as a research scientist and was engineering manager for the contamination-monitoring instruments division at TSI, where he developed the Nonvolatile Residue Monitor.  David was the owner and founder of Fluid Measurement Technologies, which Kanomax of Japan purchased in 2015. The author of more than 50 publications and the holder of eleven US patents for instrumentation such as the Scanning Threshold Particle Counter (STPC) and the Liquid Nanoparticle Sizer (LNS). Currently David works as a consultant and advisor for Kanomax FMT.
