Alana Denning joined Samsung Austin Semiconductor (SAS) in 2015.  She initially worked as a Failure Analysis Engineer, utilizing her experience with electron microscopy and spectroscopy to determine the root cause of yield impacting defects in the production line.  She became a Facilities UPW Engineer in 2017 with a focus on sustaining operations for pretreatment (RO, IX, Filtration and Degasification) and UPW auxiliary systems (regen systems, re-use of waste streams etc).  She also works on design and operational improvement for those systems.

Alana holds an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
