Dan Wiederin is president of Elemental Scientific, Omaha, Nebraska which supplies online monitoring systems for detecting metals in semiconductor chemicals.  His research interests include laboratory automation, trace metals analysis in pure chemicals, and laser ablation.  He has more than 33 years of ICPMS experience and received his Ph.D. in analytical chemistry in 1991 from Iowa State University.
