Qilin (a.k.a. Charlie) Chan is a scientist working for 3M. He has 13 years of experience in trace analysis, including impurity and particle analysis for microelectronics, healthcare, environmental and industrial applications. He received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Cincinnati, following his B.S. and M.S. in Polymer Chemistry & Physics from Nankai University in China.

Dr. Chan is a co-author on a book chapter and 20 peer-reviewed journal articles. He serves on SEMI C79 UPW task force. His most recent research is intended to improve nanoparticle characterization by leveraging the sensitivity and selectivity of inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry
