Vivian Benjes works as a Facilities Process Engineer at Intel in the Ultra Pure Water division. She focuses on environmental projects, automating repetitive tasks, and learning new things about water technology to share with her coworkers. She prides herself on the many different ways she has reduced the monthly alarm count for her facility, along with the immense amount of time she has saved every week for engineer and technician alike; she worries she might one day engineer herself out of a job. When she’s not at Intel, she can be found roller skating, flying her kite, and volunteering with Oregon Soil and Water Conservation, teaching kids about water filtration and soil erosion.
