Biography

Imtisal-e-Noor (Born on 2nd May, 1992; Pakistani), a PhD researcher of Erasmus Mundus SELECT+ Joint Doctorate Program doing her research on “Membrane Distillation and its industrial application for renewable driven water purification” in KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm (Sweden) and Aalto University, Espoo (Finland). She is by profession a Chemical Engineer, Process Engineer and Membrane Engineer as she has been awarded with triple degree masters under Erasmus Mundus Program EM3E in 2016. She has completed her master degree from University of Twente, Enschede (Netherlands); University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague (Czech Republic); University of Paul Sabatier, Toulouse (France) and University of Montpellier 2, Montpellier (France). In her masters, her specialization was focused in the field of Energy and Environment. Subsequently she worked on the topic “Performance of an Environmentally Benign Acid Base Flow Battery at High Energy Density” during her thesis at Wetsus, European Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Water Technology, Leeuwarden (Netherlands)  Previously she has done her bachelor in Chemical Engineering from National University of Sciences and Technology, Pakistan during 2010-2014.

She has shown her all-round capabilities of entrepreneurship when she travelled to the United States to participate in a very distinguished international level competition, at University of Indiana, where Global Business Institute with collaboration of the Department of State, U.S.A., organized a competition relating to Feasibility study for alternative (renewable) energy resource. She is also brand ambassador of Coca Cola Company since 2014.
